LEARNING EVERYWHERE
AND ALL THE TIME
Learning Levels
At HEI Schools Bangkok, we offer four learning levels:
PreK (18 months - 3 years), K1 (3-4 years), K2 (4-5 years), and Pre-Primary (5-6 years),
all designed to support the early years of education in line with the principles of Finnish Early Childhood Education and Care.
Our approach emphasises small class sizes and a low teacher-to-student ratio, which helps create an engaging learning environment. All of our class teachers are qualified in education or related fields, with a minimum of three years' experience and specialised training in educational practices. This structure aims to foster creativity, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning in a supportive environment.

At HEI Schools Bangkok, we celebrate the uniqueness of each child's journey. Our programme aligns with Finnish Early Childhood Education (ECE) principles, focusing on the holistic development of young learners through engaging experiences.
Building trust and emotional connections is essential, contributing to socio-emotional competence. Our dedicated teaching team creates a warm environment where children feel safe to explore their feelings and form friendships with caregivers, nurturing vital social skills.
Linguistic development is a key focus, providing a rich English-learning atmosphere where children express themselves through songs, stories, and interactive play.
Children engage in hands-on activities; they develop cognitive skills through problem-solving and creativity. We encourage creative expression through art and movement, enhancing their fine motor abilities.
We promote independence by encouraging children to make choices and participate in self-care tasks, while cultural competence is woven throughout our curriculum.
At HEI Schools Bangkok, our main focus is on each child's physical care and emotional wellbeing. We collaborate with parents to ensure a smooth transition from home to school. Our nurturing environment empowers our children to explore, learn, and grow, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

We nurture cognitive development and promote school readiness by incorporating age-appropriate academic skills. Our aim is to instil a genuine love of learning while preparing children for their next educational journey. We integrate essential skills like creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication into daily activities, creating a strong foundation for future success.
We believe in the unique potential of every child and encourage them to express their individuality while developing a growth mindset. At HEI Schools Bangkok, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment that nurtures the whole child, helping them become confident learners and active participants in their own educational journey.

Pre-Primary (5 - 6 years)

5 days per week
8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
At HEI Schools Bangkok, our Finnish-inspired pre-primary education program is designed for children aged 5-6 years. This structured curriculum supports children's growth and development, ensuring a smooth transition from kindergarten to primary education while laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
Focusing on essential 'learning to learn' skills, our program fosters a positive self-image and facilitates the acquisition of linguistic and mathematical foundations. Children engage in activities that enhance their linguistic skills and introduce basic mathematical concepts in a playful, thematic way.
Our holistic approach to teaching considers the natural ways children learn. Through play, movement, creative exploration, experimentation, observation, and interaction with peers and adults, children develop not only academically but also socially and emotionally. This comprehensive strategy ensures that they are well-prepared for the challenges of primary school and cultivates a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
